When we first arrived at the temple we learned that the temple engineer is married to a women whose family members we knew 40 years ago as missionaries. She and her two sisters are still active. Two of their older brothers are now less active. Lowell had mentioned to the sisters that the next time they visited the older brother (Stephen Tse Yuen Kai), he wanted to be invited to go along.
The request was made again last Thursday of the youngest sister when she came to the temple. She replied that it would be easy. She would simply invite us to dinner and her older brother (who lives near her) would be invited with his family as well. It was all arranged within a couple of days.
Stephen (15 yrs old when we last saw him) and Lowell recognized each other after all these years and we hope to have other opportunities to work on fellowshipping him. His family is already doing a pretty good job. His wife Kathryn and daughters Stephanie & Vivian (upper right) were baptized about 6 months ago. His youngest sister, Tse Wa Mei, her husband Howard Yim and their daughter Jennifer (lower left) are working on getting Stephen back to Church. The cousins spend a lot of time together which also helps. Lowell left a challenge with Stephen to see him in the temple before we leave Hong Kong.

Man, you guys have amazing memories! I feel like if I went back to my mission even now, I would already have forgotten pretty much everyone. Mom, what's with the closed-mouth smiles? :) Be HAPPY!!!
