We have the blessed opportunity to work with members, not only at the temple (Mongolian couple who came to have their child sealed to them, lower left), but through the ward we are assigned to as well. Lowell is fellowshipping a less active young single adult (here playing badminton with him at a stake social event) and helping the missionaries teach a youth (lower right) who is scheduled to be baptized next week. A number of the young single adults Lowell teaches each week in Sunday School recently attended the temple to do baptisms. This happened the night after Kristen arrived for a visit so she also participated. A brother (third from left) and a sister (third from right) attended the temple for the first time after recently joining the Church.
It is so cool to see Kristen there with you!!!
ReplyDeleteAll our meetings yesterday focused on missionary work, service, fellowshipping, etc. and I left feeling very guilty. Probably cuz I'm so consumed by my young family it's hard to do much else. It must be nice for you to be at the point in life where you can do it and feel good about it!
